Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to clean my husband's family's vacation home (I like to clean). My daughter, Larkin, was my partner in cleaning grime! While making up the beds in preparation for guests, Lark and I came across an antique quilt on one of the beds. Now, I'm sure it's been there for years, but when I saw this quilt, I was amazed! It's a simple nine patch with sashing, but the handwork is very nice. I immediately wanted to know who made the quilt. There wasn't a label.
I've been known to give quits to family and friends and up until recently, I did not label my quilts. When I decided to open Graham Hill Studios, I realized I needed an emblem.
I designed an emblem (with my husband's help) for the website and any paperwork that is associated with the business side of things. Then, I had t-shirts made (so we'd all look put together for the farmers' market). I then went all crazy and had TAGS made for my handmade items. Here they are:
